The crowd favorite, Mutton Bustin’, is where aspiring young cowboys and cowgirls get eight seconds of fame by busting out of the chutes aboard a sheep.

RULES​

• Only 1 entry per child

• Must be ages 4-7

• No more than 55 pounds

• Long sleeves required

• Must wear pants

• Closed toed shoes

• Must wear helmet

• Must wear vest provided by USJSW

• No ropes, gloves, chaps, or spurs allowed

• No hats

 

Trophy Buckle will be awarded to overall champion!

 

ENTRY IS FREE!

PARENT MUST HAVE GENERAL ADMISSION OR VIP TICKET TO ENTER THE EVENT. 

 

Mutton Bustin’ check in times are 12:00pm and 4:30pm. Qualification rounds will begin at 12:45 pm. The Top 10 Mutton Bustin' scores will advance to the Championship round during the U.S. Steer Wrestling Championship beginning at 5 pm.

Participation is not guaranteed. Space is limited and entry will be awarded on a first come, first-served basis.
